There are many different ways to support Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School!
Scrip:
Scrip cards are just like gift cards. Buy them as a gift card for someone’s birthday, anniversary, graduation, or any other event where you would buy someone a gift card. You can buy them for yourself too! Use it to buy gas, groceries, and clothes. Each time you use a Scrip card you are earning money for OLL school.
If you buy a $25 gas card, we get a % of that money. The best part though… you get to use up the entire $25 you paid. This is a way to raise money for OLL just by shopping using Scrip cards and not cost you any more. Buying Scrip can also be done on-line!
Please stop by or call the church office at (715) 682-7620 or the school office at (715) 682-7622 to get an order slip.
Bingo:
Every Tuesday night at OLL is Bingo night in the Social Hall. All money raised at Bingo goes towards OLL School. Prizes and games vary. Come and have a fun night and support our school.
The “Painless” Fundraising Corner
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Community and School seem to have an endless selection of fundraisers throughout the year. We appreciate the continued support for those events and activities. However, there are several ways to help the fundraising effort without spending any additional money. We have several very successful methods that do raise substantial funds.
1. Aluminum Pop Cans: These may be dropped off in the can receptacle next to the North Entrance of the Church complex.
2. Campbell Soup Labels: This is perhaps our oldest fundraiser. The labels earn items for the school such as athletic equipment and technology equipment. We only need the UPC symbol for credit, not the entire label.
3. Box Tops for Education: The Box Tops for Education symbols are found on many food products. Recently, many new products have been added which earn money for the school. Shop from Box Tops for Educations site at Marketplace for many retailers.
4. Milk Caps: The colored caps with the picture of a cow on Kemps, KwikTrip milk moola and Golden Guernsey caps are worth 5 cents each.
5. Ink Jet Cartridge Recycling: Through this program the school recycles used inkjet cartridges. The points earned enable us to acquire various types of technology for the computer room.
6. Internet Shopping Merchant Rebates: There are many ways to earn money for our school via shopping online through programs such as Schoolpop.com and SchoolMall.com. Just go to the website of your choice and sign-in. Designate Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School as the recipient. Shop at all your favorite stores like Lands End, J.C.Penney, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Office Max. The list of possibilities is endless! Each merchant then donates a percentage of your purchase to our school. If you haven’t tried this yet, do so soon!
7. Merchant Credit Cards Programs: We are enrolled with many merchants & programs such as Target, Kohl’s that send us a percentage of your purchase that is charged to their credit card. If you are routinely charging certain items, please consider using a card such as Target so you can help our school.
8. Goodsearch.com and Goodshop.com: Register with goodsearch.com to use as your home page. Designate Our Lady of the Lake School as your charity of choice. There is no charge for this service and each search you do earns $.01 for the school.
9. Our Family labels: Save Our Family food product labels.
10. Nestle Pure Life: Our school can get P.E. equipment by saving these water labels.
11. Magazine Subscriptions and Renewals: When you would like to order a new magazine subscription, or renew your subscriptions, go online to QSP.com any time of year. Designate Our Lady of the Lake as your school of choice and we receive 40% of the cost back to our school.
12. Tyson A+ Program: There is an A+ symbol on packaged frozen Tyson foods that we not collect. Please clip and turn in the entire panel. Each one is worth 24 cents! WOW!
13. Capri Sun Pouch Brigade: Turn in your empty Capri Sun drink pouches. Each one is worth $.01 to us. Please make sure pouches are empty and straws are removed.
If you have questions about any of these fundraising options, call Robyn at 682-7620.
